WHAT IS A BIDET?
Bidet is a tool to wash and clean genitalia, perineum, inner buttocks, and anus after using the bathroom. They may also be used to clean any other part of the body. Bidet is made in many different designs. One of the bidets that we use after toilet has a nozzle which propels an arc of water up into the air. This jet of water is angled to easily reach the perianal and genital area.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES TO HAVING A BIDET?
1- Bidet is much more hygienic than using toilet paper alone.
2- Bidet can make you to save money in long run.
3- Bidet can save the nature: Average use of water is 1/8th of a gallon per use. This is a small amount comparing amount of water that we flush the toilet every time we use.
4- Bidet is a one time investment compared to the recurring costs of buying toilet paper endlessly.
5- The biggest advantage of having a bidet is the feeling of being clean.
WHAT ARE THE DISADVANTAGES TO NOT HAVING A BIDET?
1- The biggest disadvantage of not having a bidet is the feeling of being NOT clean.
2- Using only dry toilet paper is unhealthy and overtime that can cause bacteria growth and infections such as hemorrhoids, and bladder, and urinary tract infections. In addition to this, continuing to clean with dry paper will finally lead to irritation of these sensitive areas and along with increased bleeding and itching of the affected area. This does not happen to everyone but many can relate to the problems that dry toilet paper can lead to.
3- The concept of cleaning oneself with toilet paper is old and outdated. Imagine getting your hands dirty and then cleaning them with only paper. It makes much more sense to clean our dirty hands with water and then using paper to dry them. The same concept should be applied to how we clean ourselves after using the bathroom. |
